White is crisp and bright. It highlights and enhances. It expands. Black adds drama. It’s an anchor, a base note in the music of a room. It frames. Together they breathe new life into a tired space, giving rooms an easy sophistication, cool and relaxed. I’m still on my un-Hamptons Hamptons kick although I must admit this home by Manhattan-based design studio BHDM Design is on the North Fork not the South Fork of Long Island. Technicalities kids. This is how you do beach side chic!

black, white, and don´t forget the soft brown of wood, leather and wicker. That combination is beautiful!

Wow- Hamptons on the outside, but definitely non-Hamptons on the inside. Beautiful!
