“A house composed of a field of rooms that open and close in dialogue with the landscape.”
An elegant description for this award winning residence by Melbourne-based architectural firm WALTER&WALTER.

I love the feel of texture created via the wooden slats in and out. It makes such a wonderful backdrop for the plants to pop up, does it not?!
Love this style of architecture, the clean lines, the staircase, the color that gives great contrast, and the many large windows that let all the natural light in. I’m not surprised this was the 2017 Australian Institute of Architects award winner!
