Mark Ashby Design

This beautiful stone home perched above Austin was remodelled by local firm Mark Ashby Design working with clients who “were inspired by a European mid-century modern aesthetic, while still acknowledging their love for old world New England style”. The result is not only beautiful and functional but the attention to detail and fine finishes were paramount.

Angie says:

Wow. For the first time in my life I haven’t wanted to hang something over the fireplace. Good work on the part of both architect and interior designer.

K-Line says:

Ha! That’s so strange because the first thing I thought (and I never care to hang things over fireplaces) was “Man, for once I really see the need for art over the fireplace”. 🙂

Lorraine says:

Fabulous place and I especially like the ceiling light in the bedroom. It reminds me of the old 3-chain fixtures I have from the ’30s – ’40s, but this one is way more cool. 🙂 Thanks!
