Eclectic spaces by Liza Rachevskaya

Posted on Mon, 17 Dec 2018 by KiM

Russian decorator Liza Rachevskaya is really pushing all the right buttons with these spaces that are a wonderful random mix of colours, textures and furnishings from many eras. I love unexpected combinations that have me devouring each photo in detail. And I must note how head over heels I am for the first bedroom below. Gorg!!!

Utterly fearless! Go Russia!

I would have lacqured the walls as the bookcases are in the first photo, may as well go all in. Ornate but not overly so, it all breathes.
In fact the white tub and sink tack down the etherialness of the pink bathroom.
That patchwork room immediately reminded me of Gloria Vanderbilt’s patchwork bedroom. It’s not just kid stuff, it can be quite sophisticated and very high end.

I just googled that bedroom. WHOA!!!
