A renovated apartment in Madrid

I am loving this renovated apartment in Madrid designed by Raul Martins. Those exposed wood beams and that tile floor throughout are beautiful features, and the colour accents really warm up the space. Greenery in vases appears to be his signature design element. (You’ll see what I’m talking about in the next post)

Lovely carpet it looks like some type of marble.

Classy negro floor tile with lighter key. Direct contrast with raw wood post and beam, and moved up the wall via curtains.

Madrid always does interesting. Greeney not necessary. I believe not permanent but for sake of photo. There’s far more ‘signature’ here than that, silly!

The pattern on the rug makes the negro tile look discordant but it isn’t, they are conflicting patterns not entirely symbiotic. Why do they go together? I believe the marbelized bedroom works better. Thank you for posting this, something good, for once, to analyze. Personally, love those bathroom sconces, so jealous.
