Feminine glam in an apartment in France

If you’re a fan of glamourous and dramatic interiors with a feminine touch I think you’re going to love this renovated apartment by Lyon, France designer Claude Cartier. Pink, grey, black, white and an unexpected touch of blue make for a beautiful colour palette. If I didn’t love Cole & Son’s Fornasetti Nuvolette wallpaper before I’m now DYING to use it on a ceiling. Also, the photo above is a great example of hot to use paint in a simple yet unique way. STUNNING!!!

Melanie Millar says:

very smart, very witty. Love mirrored beveled brick wall. Love the gilded gold bird cage chair. And OMG! the curvy glass dining table legs? And the high shelf of cut crystal in the kitchen? Wonderful!

Susan Braidwood says:

I looked at that very table (briefly) several years ago. It’s gorgeous, but after having lived with a glass topped table, the last thing I’d want is one that is all glass 🙂 I think it was Italian made.

Lorraine says:

The crib is gorgeous, but the hanging lights won’t work once the baby is old enough to stand. 😉 I love the glass table also, but I thought maybe the legs were made of/by Lucite; you know, to be safe. I know Lucite makes tables and now I’m going to browse on-line for them. Thanks!
