Christmas in a Swedish apartment

With 10 days to go to Christmas I thought I would try to add a bit more festive vibes to the blog (since neither Jo nor I partake in any Christmas decorating) with this beautiful 49 sq m apartment in Sweden dolled up for the holidays. Home of 20 year old decorator Simon Olsson, it’s a delicious melange of white, grey and black and is filled with vintage finds. So cozy and the sparse pine trees and lighting really make it special. What a gorgeous and handsomely appointed apartment with a deconstructed Christmas theme. Just some descriptive words that come to mind: simple, elegant, inky, moody, warm, welcoming, cozy, clean, vintage, edited. I REALLY love this.

I agree with Carmen. This is very beautiful!

Thanks for the trip to Sweden! I recently painted my bedroom this moody blue and I love it.

I always think of dark blue and think it isn’t cosy. This goes to show that with the right styling, everything can be cosy! Utterly beautiful and so calming.

What a beautiful apartment! So cozy and so stylish! Great color combo too! That little corner with the small table and mirrors on the wall is proof that no matter how tiny is your home, you should always treat it as good as you can and there will always be room for spectacular results.
