Green with envy

Posted on Wed, 11 Mar 2020 by midcenturyjo

I thought, at first, that it was the light filled living areas. Perhaps it was the cheery bathing facilities. It wasn’t long though before I had to own the truth. It was that colourful kitchen that had me green with envy. Woodley Terrace by Montgomery, Alabama interior designer Ashley Gilbreath.

Dark grey and pink in a Swedish apartment

Posted on Tue, 10 Mar 2020 by KiM

My jaw dropped to the floor when I spotted this apartment on real estate site Lagerlings. An apartment in Sweden that isn’t slathered in white paint! The dark grey and pink is stunning and is perfection together. Also, massive pink sectional sofa for the win!

Rustic touches in a renovated Madrid apartment

Posted on Tue, 10 Mar 2020 by KiM

Such a fun and inviting apartment this is! Another great project by Madrid-based architecture, interior design & construction firm BAO. Rustic touches throughout make the space homey and perfect for a family. The frosted glass partitions are a wonderful feature that lets light flow through whilst offering privacy.

Still chasing the real estate dream but this time I’m in the inner Sydney suburb of Woollahra eying off a small but stylish Victorian cottage full of charm, light and art work. Historical details and modern creature comforts make it a perfect city pad. Link here while it lasts.

Dream of a contemporary home, sleek lined and modern, with all the luxury finishes but family friendly? Dream of open plan with walls of glass opening to manicured garden with pool? Does a monochromatic black and white palette punctuated with hits of colour from standout art works ring your design bell? Well perhaps this architect designed home for sale in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Brighton is just right for you. Now if we could just convince the vendor to leave their art collection behind 😉  Link here while it lasts.
