Over the top and unique in a Stockholm apartment

I came across this Stockholm apartment on sköna hem and did a double take for a couple of reasons. First, it was suspect that this was a Swedish home. Those lovely Swedes aren’t exactly known for their colourful homes. Second, it was so unique and over the top that I needed to review a second and third time to make sure I didn’t miss anything. A layered space is always a win in my book. I want to discover something new at each glance. If I can evaluate a room in its entirety in 3 seconds, I am bored. Kudos to designer Pontus Nilvander for holding my attention for well beyond 3 seconds. (Photos: Johan Carlsson)

Horrifying chair in the bedroom – that may be the point – suggesting all the baby animals killed to make it. I could not sit in it or live with it, even if fake.

Disgusted by the pup seal chair as well. In very poor taste. What kind of message is that sending to our youth.

that kitchen is insane. It didn’t occur to me that those were real baby seals. I thought it was very witty, assuming they are not real.
Can somebody please clarify this question? It is going to haunt me.

Most likely it’s a Campana Brothers design, they have a line of chairs covered in various stuffed animals. Usually I think they’re fun but this baby seal one is too real!
