There are some beautiful objects and architectural details, but the furniture placement is so frustrating! That enormous couch is facing a blank wall – it should be rotated to face the kitchen or out the window. Similarly, that beautiful kitchen island should face into the living room, not into a wall.

Is this all just a misguided attempt to make the space fell less long and narrow?
