An interplay of colour and light

“Cloudy blue and terracotta tones immerse the home’s front heritage rooms, lending a feeling of intimacy and seclusion. To the rear, an elegant kitchen sleeves into the dining space, finished with shiplap cladding and leather banquette seats, with framed views to the garden. Pale celadon, eggshell and taupe tones forge an understated yet sophisticated palette, enlivened by bursts of geometric tiling in the entry and rolling cloud wallpaper in the powder room; a reflection of the family’s light-hearted disposition.”

Colour and light play together in this reworking of an Edwardian home in inner Melbourne weaving their magic to create a stylish, liveable family home. Park House by Melbourne-based interior designer Georgina Jeffries.
