It’s like I say week in week out. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it’s somewhere stylish. (I wouldn’t mind going there for a cocktail and a bite to eat either.) Cucina Alba by GRT Architects.

I am trying to figure out where this restaurant is. “Cucina Alba”. An Italian name. But it could be any city in the world. Seriously.
This question came up when I looked at the last picture: the street facade. It wasn’t obvious to me where we are.
So I am interested in the restaurant, but also in the city.
Cucina Alba is located in the southeast corner of Thomas Heatherwick’s Lantern House, which straddles the Highline at 18th street = New York City.
