Ivy House is the stunning personal residence of Matt and Heather French, founders of French & French Interiors. Nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Santa Fe, New Mexico, this territorial-style home is a vibrant expression of their signature aesthetic. A playful fusion of color, pattern, and texture, the Ivy House embodies bold creativity and uninhibited design. With full creative freedom, Heather and Matt reimagined traditional style, blending hand-painted wall murals, eclectic pattern mixing, folk-inspired textiles, and unexpected yet delightfully surprising details throughout. Set against a breathtaking natural backdrop, this home is a true reflection of their visionary approach to interiors.
Not for the faint of heart, or the faint of pattern in this case, this home is a maximalist’s dream. A deeply personal project but also artistically ambitious. Studio Ashby is renowned for creating soulful interiors with timeless elegance and an eclectic spirit. At Villa Robert Graves, part of Belmond Hotels’ La Residencia in Mallorca, the studio led a sensitive renovation celebrating local heritage. Working with artisans, they incorporated Mallorcan linens, ceramics, and antique pieces. Inspired by the Tramuntana mountains, the interiors blend natural materials, vibrant patterns, and curated art to craft an immersive, characterful indoor-outdoor living experience.

Sarah Vanrenen Ltd is renowned for creating characterful, comfortable interiors rich in texture, colour, and craftsmanship. Blending traditional methods with British design, the studio delivers timeless spaces that suit both classic and modern architecture. For an 18th-century Wiltshire farmhouse, the clients’ first country home, they crafted a glamorous yet welcoming retreat. The project included a large kitchen extension, boot room, pantry, utility room and a thoughtful reconfiguration of the existing layout.

I declare that every Cotswolds residence needs a party barn! It makes complete sense if you have a barn on your property that needs some love. In this case it involves exposed stone walls, tons of storage, reclaimed wood, a massive 20 person dining table that can move out of the way to make room for a dance floor, a kitchen with bi-fold doors to close it off so the dinner mess can wait until morning, and lots of space for guests to sleep.
