Is there anything cooler than a bed on wheels that slides onto a deck so you can sleep under the stars, or huge sliding doors that open a space to the outdoors, or window seats with incredible views, or little bed niches? I THINK NOT. Fernau & Hartman Architects make all that happen and then some.

What a trip

I really don’t quite know how to start off this post….except to say that this would make the cutest little summer hideout EVER and I bet this place would make you feel like a gypsy.

Jackie Caradonio’ s latest

Jackie Caradonio had written us a while ago to share an incredible hotel in Texas, and she emailed the other day with another of her latest projects: “Just wanted to share with you a home that I recently photographed; it’s a bit on the masculine side for what you normally post but it certainly is fun and I thought you guys may be interested. It’s a loft space in Brooklyn owned by a French bachelor and owner of several US art galleries. He has three big loves–art, cars, and his dogs–and his personality certainly shines through in his home!” We are both in agreement that this one is definitively for all the guys out there.
