Michael Graydon

Michael Graydon is a familiar name to me, as he regularly shoots for Canadian House & Home and Style at Home magazines. He has an amazing talent, creating such fresh and bright photos. Plus, some of his photos are immediately going into my inspiration folder….such as this one below:

I mean, can pink stairs BE ANY CUTER?!?! I have to repaint mine as the white I chose isn’t the right shade, and I’m wondering if I can muster up that much courage.

I have neighbours who can look down into my backyard, and another project on my todo list is to create some privacy on part of my deck. When I saw the next two photos I freaked. It’s what I’ve been dreaming about since I bought my house.

Reed Davis update

Reed Davis, photographer extraordinaire, left a comment on Jo’s previous post of his work that he has started a blog of his travels. I thought I’d share some more photos from his portfolio, and a few from his blog. Since I don’t get to travel, EVER (6+ 1 cats makes it near impossible), I am excited to start following his blog that will, I guarantee, be full of eye candy….and I shall undoubtedly and become green with envy.

Chair porn

Posted on Thu, 30 Apr 2009 by KiM

Last weekend I saw a couple to-die-for mid-century modern chairs that I had to leave in the shops because I cannot justify owning more chairs. This has had me thinking about chairs, and I realized it has been far too long since my last chair porn post.
