I spotted his beauty of an apartment on Lagerlings and had to share because it’s not your typical Swedish style of white and pastels. A bit of rust/orange, some black and brass, a bit of mid-century modern, and some bold artwork makes this space unique.

A big thanks to Adam for sending us a link to this absolutely breathtaking newly built home in Toronto that is for sale. The finishes and attention to detail in this home are really incredible.
What’s the result when a new build in an unbeatable location is meticulously designed from the ground up, selecting only the finest finishes, such as a striking floating staircase, an ingenious “hidden” kitchen and ultra-modern bifold doors that transform the entire living space into an indoor-outdoor paradise in an instant? A timeless neoclassical design with a spectacular blend of Parisian charm and modern luxury that inspires you to live out your best life. Step into this sophisticated, bright space that reflects all of the elegance of a French chateau; with grandeur-scale, crown-topped 11-foot ceilings and a breathtaking master suite floor with a large terrace overlooking Toronto’s skyline.

I was googling landscaping firms the other day and came across Leaf and June – the Brooklyn-based interior plant design and maintenance studio of Lisa Muñoz. I love this idea SO much! She offers onsite consultation and a custom design proposal tailored to your space. Plants and planters are then sourced upon design approval and potted for you. Then she will deliver, stage, install and a full plant care guide are provided. The perfect solution to any plant dummy out there who lacks the knowledge and confidence to have a house full of greenery. Check out these beautiful spaces Lisa has ‘plantified’.

If you would like to participate in the Monday’s pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net, or hashtag your photos on Instagram with #DTIpetsonfurniture. Thanks!

A’ Design Award and Competitions are organized and awarded annually and internationally in a wide range of categories. Every year, projects that focus on innovation, technology, design and creativity are awarded with the A’ Award. While realized projects find opportunities to get published, reach new markets and meet a wide range of buyers for their existing products, the organization also helps the creative minds and startups to meet with the business people to realize their product ideas. If you’d like to register for next year’s competition you can do so here.
