If this family home designed by Godrich isn’t the definition of fun, then I quit. A visually arresting space, this family home in the West Country uses an abundance of colour and interest to create an amalgamation of aesthetics. Classic mid-century timber furniture graces each space, while bespoke lighting schemes create a truly unique approach to family living. A veritable feast of art work is displayed throughout the house, while one-off antiques and curiosities adorn each corner and cubby hole.

London-based interior design firm Godrich brings to the table a vibrant, exuberant style, unfettered by fleeting trends and is underpinned by a distinctive sense of creativity. And that is why I had to share. I crave authenticity and individuality. And these spaces are just that. And I am pretty much sold when you throw some fun artwork into the mix.

Studio Giancarlo Valle is blowing me away again (last week’s feature here) with this 2300 sq ft loft in Brooklyn that is filled with textures, shapes, colours and lots of unique style. Sublime eye candy.

Here’s Pinot in her favorite chair – maybe because it provides a natural camouflage?
– Karen (Norfolk, Virginia)

Here’s our dwarfrabbit gang. (All from shelters) Our beloved sunshines. The first is Casimir (Long Hair Angora) Freshly trimmed because of the heat. The second under the chair is on the left Ringel and on the right Blanca. (She’s deaf but nevertheless the Boss of the whole family 😉 ) The third is Pippa on the left and Ringel on the right. (Both three-legged through accidents).
– Carmen (Karlsruhe, Southern Germany)

And one from me of Bernie napping on his favourite chair in the living room

I have serious bedroom envy after finding this new location home on Shoot Factory so I had to spread the love with you all. I want the bed soooooo badly. But I’d paint it black. And the wooden legs holding up the mattress. The rest of this home is pretty fabulous too. Those crown moldings are what dreams are made of.
