When you live along the edge of a bay, it only seems right to keep your spaces earthy and neutral. A touch of blue to bring the colour of the water in doesn’t hurt. What a gorgeous, simple project by Vancouver designer Angela Robinson.

I love this really fun, mid-century modern home designed by Regan Baker. Second home, stylish brewery owners, decided to hire Regan Baker Design to transform their beloved Duboce Park home into an organic modern oasis reflecting their modern aesthetic and sustainable, green conscience lifestyle. From hops to floors, we worked extensively with our design savvy clients to provide a new footprint for their kitchen, dining and living room area, redesigned three bathrooms, reconfigured and designed the master suite, and replaced an existing spiral staircase with a new modern, steel staircase.

Nothing beats a wonderfully executed conversion, like this barn located in Yorkshire, England. I absolutely love the vintage details with some modernism via some black and yellow. Exposed beams, stone walls and tongue and groove panelling make this extra special. Available as a location home via jj Locations.

Some Parisian fabulousness from architecture duo Gaëlle Cuisy and Karine Martin of GplusK. When space is at a premium, these ladies know just what to do, and with a modern aesthetic and a dash of colour.

A well-thought-out combination of dark and light can be found in this apartment on West 9th Street designed by Sawyer | Berson. Looooove the glossy dark grey paint on all that woodwork. A neutral colour palette and nothing too precious or sparkly makes this a, dare I say, perfect bachelor pad (but if you need proof take a look at the last photo).
