I wanted to share another awesome project by designer Brian Paquette, however this one is a bit of a departure from his typical colour palette and is bright and playful. I really like the idea of an unexpected colour for all of a kitchen’s lower cabinets. I’d love to see this in either a kelly or forest green.

I am a huge fan of the unique, eclectic style of Dublin-based interior architecture and design firm Kingston Lafferty. This project is filled with random awesomeness, including glimpses into a dreamy kitchen. The brief was to create a cooking/dining experience that felt like a buzzing restaurant. The aim of the kitchen/dining area design is to add some excitement, fun and design flair within the existing walls of the house. Photos: Barbara Corsico

This is such a pretty home by Calgary interior designer and hot on the Canadian interiors media scene Alykhan Velji. Timeless and classic with accents in blue and pink, these spaces are bright and functional and could easily be changed up winter/summer or if you simply want a new colour accent.

Seattle-based interior designer Brian Paquette continues to make me swoon over his work – including this magazine-worthy living and dining room he designed in West Seattle. Such beautiful tones of deep green, ochre, black and grey. Moody and dramatic without being too dark.
