I continue to be smitten with Andrew Brown‘s sophisticated, classic+contemporary+modern blend of styles with an always soothing neutral scheme and this home is no exception. Gorgeous and timeless.

I adore this home featured in Nuevo Estilo. When each piece has a history and tells a story, when they all come together in a beautifully and thoughtfully curated way that I just want to melt into each space. I would love to know what stories the chesterfield above could tell….

Here are two shots of our kitten Pinot noir (aka Peanut) on our tuxedo sofa from Room & Board next to the mid-century chair that I stripped and had reupholstered. I’m getting ready to redo the chair in an indigo stripe – that will go better in this house than our previous house (in Montreal).

A couple of oldies from me. The first, when I decided Felix should partake in the annual Christmas photo, and Pheobe on the bed in my last house.

Billabong (BIL-ə-bong) – an isolated pond left behind after a river changes course.
A swimming pond at the end of the garden? Yes please. Even better if it doesn’t have a slimy bottom 😉 This beautifully crafted pool and surrounding garden are by Sydney-based Landart Landscapes. Love the cantilevered boardwalk perfect for that running jump into the cool waiting water.
