Marble sinks and hex tiles and industrial lighting, OH MY! Delicious bathrooms to love by Studio Muir…so many I gave them their own post.

Kenly Lambie Shankman of San Francisco based design firm Studio Muir creates spaces I totally want to dive head first into. Working with a structure’s original details and adding some modern yet warm touches results in rooms that are unique, inviting and oh la la the attention to detail that adds an extra dose of yumminess. EPIC BATHROOM!!! I want to stare at this the rest of the day.

This marble is unbelievably beautiful. And with a thin profile it could not be more perfect in this kitchen.

There is nothing fancy about this dining room but the combo of the Thonet chairs, pale yellow walls, and light fixture are simply yummy, and then you look up and BAM!

These chunky stairs. That glass framed wall. The tumbling block tile. YES YES YES.

If I ever decide I want a graphic backsplash, THIS IS IT.

Those chairs make me itch, but other than that this little reading area is fabulous.

Those mirrors with the faucets mounted on them are SO GREAT!

Staircase views to die for.

I’ve never wanted to play the piano….until now. That light fixture is UN FREAKING REAL!!!!! Seriously I would trade that for my current one in a heartbeat.

ALL THE WINE. I usually hate wine storage spaces but this is classy.
Hats off to Luigi Rosselli for these memorable spaces. And if you can’t get enough there is more here, here and here.

A beach house on stilts. Impeccably designed stairs with storage. A book lover’s dream. This beautiful home is creation of Australian architect Luigi Rosselli. Behind the white picket fence on the front street, a circular stair leads to a relaxed timber veranda , ultramarine weatherboards and the original white timber windows make for a breezy, summery house. Bleached interiors reverberate with crisp and clear classical violin practices and hold a myriad of books encased in every wall stud and recess. At the back of the house, facing into a small tropical garden dense with palms and ferns, there is a garden room with a massive sliding shutter that can be secured, and protects the fully furnished room when no one is at home. The stair takes position centre stage in the house, supported by a solid stud wall filled with bookshelves and bathed in natural light.

I came across the Instagram account of Lucy Rose of the blog Birdie Farm recently and was instantly taken with how absolutely homey, cozy and gorgeous her home is. She creates the most beautiful vignettes with a distinctive rustic tone, which works perfectly in her rustic Colorado home. Now if she were a bit more south I’d be banging down her door begging to move in! Go give her a follow if you aren’t already, and prepare yourself to fall in love.
