Black kitchen cabinets, black dining chairs, black backsplash, black/blue bedroom walls and cupboard, black tile bathroom….this Potts Point, Sydney apartment designed by architect and interior designer Tom Ferguson (TFAD) is dark and fabulous and not at all dreary. This moody space is subtly glamorous and there is not a white wall in sight! And I am in love with the bathroom, and that Cole & Son Nuvole Fornasetti mural. 

Yes, that’s right. I am claiming this to be the PERFECT apartment. It is so perfect that I was thinking about listing off all of the elements that make it perfect and realized that the list would be a mile long. Honky always produces awesome interiors. Like this one in South London. For this show home at Valentines Place SE1, Honky has created an interior scheme with an edgy, industrial feel that reflects the original building’s heritage as a flour mill and former bakery. Jewel coloured details, velvets and tactile fabric elements combine with gold accessories to create an elegant, contemporary apartment. (Previous posts on their work here).

Eclectic and timeless, with a mix of modern, bohemian and rustic. This is the absolutely beautiful home of Los Angeles based interior designer Katie Hodges. I am head over heels in love with her dining nook.
