Reader Allie sent these cool photos of her home to share. It’s bright breezy and fun with lots of great ideas. Check out more on her flickr site. For all the high end rooms we post it’s the readers’ homes I like the best. Thanks Allie!
A giant of the American design scene Vicente Wolf. Key words are integrity, simplicity, beauty. His rooms are sensuous cocoons, cool and luminous, sublime and seductive. I think I’m running out of superlatives.
My favourite red room is by Betsy Burnham. I know a lot of you are already familiar with her work but it is remiss of me not to give her the full credit her work deserves and do another post. Betsy commented on the red room post and said she was doing a new house for the lucky client who gets to work in that fabulous room. She also revealed that she has new photos of recent work but hasn’t found the time yet to update her website. Please do Betsy. I know we’d all love to see more of your amazing work. For those of you who have never been to Burnham Design’s wonderful website you’re in for a treat.
This is the apartment of Christopher Coleman. Graphic, layered, lush and quirky. Great ideas for a small space. Black has never looked so good. That striped shelving unit is a Lack bookcase and some coloured tape! And what about those metal ball curtains.
