Stalking Paddington

Posted on Thu, 27 Feb 2014 by midcenturyjo

Flicking, flicking, flicking through real estate listings. I’m high speed stalking. It needs to catch my eye, hold my attention for more and a few seconds. What’s behind that red door? Love the bespoke cabinetry, the beautifully tiled bathroom. No wonder. This Paddington, Sydney terrace has been renovated by one of my favourite architects Scott Weston. Now I wish I was buying, not stalking. Link here while it lasts.

The new traditionalist

English antiques and a stiff upper lip tempered and teased by mid-century classics, fab fabrication and colour, great licks of colour. Play spot the Scandinavian icons, Wegner, Saarinen, Iittala, Josef Frank. The new traditionalist that is Ben Pentreath.
