My name is Jo and I’m a property stalker… but I’m fussy. A real estate listing has to be just right to catch my eye. Bad photos, I need more photos please, house is amazing furniture is deplorable, can’t quite put my finger on it listings with something that has me nodding “yes”. This week’s leftovers include a darkly masculine art deco apartment, an artist Moroccan/Balinese/Indian/Spanish/slightly confused folly in the Byron Bay hinterland and a house we’ve stalked before.

A modern retreat up on the hill. Telegraph Hill, San Francisco that is. Climb the stairs and not only does a stunning view await you but the clean, minimal lines of the two floor apartment by CCS Architecture. Can common sense be sexy? Can practical be super stylish? Sure can!

I understand it’s as inner city Sydney as you can get (Darlinghurst). I understand it’s a renovated 2 bedroom art deco flat. I understand it looks cute with its white walls, colourful kilim and funky artwork. I understand it probably looks better in real life than these photos and I’d fell in love with it on inspection in person. I just don’t understand Sydney property prices. (Guide price over $950 000.) Link here while it lasts.

A soft, muted beauty, cozy like a favourite old sweater, stylishly simple and simply stylish. If I loved Paul Massey‘s Cornwall home then it’s obvious that I’m head over heels for his Primrose Hill, London flat. An amazing photographer with a wonderful eye who could easily put down the camera and take up design.

I want, I need this little prep area. Is it a bar? A butler’s pantry? A corner of a kitchen? I don’t care. I’m smitten. By stylist Natasha Louise King.
