I have turned from the embrace of my dark darling and now offer my undying love to the light. What on earth am I babbling about? A couple of years ago I lost my heart to artist Marcella Kaspar‘s home except that I thought it was fashion icon and style setter Maggie Tabberer’s home but it wasn’t because Maggie Tabberer’s home was Marcella’s old home and Marcella and builder/designer Mark Cooper had built a new home in the same style but beautifully dark and moody. Confused? All you need to know is that this is indeed Maggie Tabberer’s home and it is for sale. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. Those who have seen it in magazine shoots will know what I mean. I would move in a heart beat. Perhaps I can haunt the open for inspections. Oh I truly am a stalker now. Link here while it lasts.

There is something so dramatic about London based interior stylist Holly Bruce‘s work. Rich, deep colour. Dramatic. Perhaps not something to transfer directly to your living room or bedroom but oh the daydreams and schemes I am cooking up with my head full of Holly’s ideas.

The world is so hectic. Life is crashing from problem to solution and back again. The pure serenity of this house in Biniaraix, Mallorca is like a salve. Restrained, beautifully curated, with a simplicity of line, palette and finish. Understated luxury. Renovation and extention by Gabriel Santos.

Just a delightful little taste of the work of photographer Dan Duchars. I love his use of natural light in these shoots. Almost like an extra presence in the space.

Are you over the deer trend yet? I thought I was. Then I saw this. Majestic beast! From the portfolio of stylist Lyndell Miller. Lyndell is a food stylist (try not to lick the screen when you are over on her website) but she also has a fabulous portfolio of cafe/restaurant images. That’s where I found Mr Deer oh dear!
