From the American countryside we are now off to the French seaside at Saint-Jean-de-Luz. This family vacation house by Paris-based Sophie de L’Epine epitomises the laid back sophistication of the French beach style. So evocative of warm breezes, the smell of salt in the air and the hum of insects. There is sand on the floor, towels draped on stylish yet hard working furniture and the promise of an endless, carefree summer.

There may not be many pictures but it’s just enough to excite and inspire. That green is so deep and alluring, the rooms so elegant, the kitchen a dream. And it’s in the 10th arrondissement of Paris! By Fabrizio Casiraghi.
