“A meticulous renovation of a landmarked two-bedroom, two-bathroom Upper West Side townhouse, we were tasked with creating a feminine, cultivated, and imaginative oasis for a young, eclectic and creative client. We drew inspiration from a Parisian pied-à-terre, along with Ottoman architecture and Spanish design.”

A second home is a dream of mine – a cottage to be able to do all the design things I wish I could have done in my main house, or the second-runner-up of styles I wished I would have done but caved and went the safe route. This historic coastal cottage in Northport, Maine is definitively giving cottage vibes but also so much vintage charm and such pretty, joyful colours that really make this an awesome place to spend with family and friends. I adore shades of terracotta. It makes a space feel so warm and cozy but still vibrant. Madrid-based designer Marta De La Rica created all the warmth in this home with layers of terracotta and shades of blue.
