A serene Sydney beachside apartment

Posted on Mon, 14 Mar 2022 by midcenturyjo

Timeless and with an effortless style this apartment with sweeping views of across Sydney harbour to the Heads is light-filled and lovely. The views are front and centre while the interiors are serene and chic. An easy sophistication, a quiet retreat. Balmoral Beach Apartment by AP Design House.

Modern in the woods

Jamie Ivey of Richmond, Virginia based interior designers Ivey Design Group has taken a neutral new build (albeit with huge windows taking in the expansive views of woodlands and pond) and created a colourful and welcoming contemporary home. Crisp white walls allow pops of colour to delight and draw you into rooms while layering of textures warms what could have been a cold modern house. Think sophisticated yet family friendly, unique and definitely not boring.

A masculine take on the Hamptons look. Black and white, at times moody with a modern meets midcentury vibe. Getting away to the Hamptons has never been so stylish. Milina Drive in East Hampton by New York based design firm BHDM.
