“Each room evokes a feeling of a detailed collector – through vintage rugs, antique furniture, decorative objects and, of course, art. The entirety of space is elevated, interesting and also comfortable. This house is a true color story that ebbs and flows with a harmonious blend of quiet and bold moments, casual spaces and also subtle notes of formality. The end result is an unexpected, complex and layered home, much like the art it is serving to frame.”
The family home of the founder of Framebridge by Zoë Feldman Design not only showcases the art (in Framebridge frames of course) but the marriage of old and new resulting in stylish modern living with more than a touch of fun.

This beautiful and inviting house is located in Oxfordshire and is home to interior designer Taline Findlater of Olivine Design and her family. Some of the home dates back to the 17th century, which means there is some really great character inside and out. Add in some really fun colours and patterns (Taline is a trained fabric expert), and the result is a really fun and eye-catching, modernized home. (Photos: Simon Brown)
A couple of summers ago I featured a home designed by Cameron Ruppert and the post was titled ‘Maximalism with colour and pattern‘. It was bold and I was smitten. And then I saw this latest project by Cameron and my mind is BLOWN. I wish I could be this creative and ballsy with colour and pattern but it really takes a special talent and confidence to come up with combinations like this and it be THIS GOOD. Modern, playful and an abundance of curves. Always a fan of everything Studio DB creates. This East Village home is no exception. Photography by Matthew Williams
“Complete refurbishment of a generously proportioned Victorian family home in East London. Set over 5 floors, the mix of architectural styles is reflected in the interiors with a light, rustic contemporary approach in the lower ground floor and contrasting rich dark Victorian splendour on the upper floors.”
Old and new, Victorian and contemporary, light and dark. It’s all moody Victorian glam in the older part of the house breaking out into a modern, earthy almost rustic extension. The best of both worlds. Hackney, London residence by Frank & Faber.
