OK this is technically a hall not a warehouse but are you really going to quibble with me? OMG. Take a look at this beauty. Seen it before haven’t you? It’s that Chuck Close print at the end of the hallway that’s ringing bells. The Design Files about 2 and a half years ago. The amazeballs home of Georgie and Alex Cleary of Alpha60. Can a girl have two warehouses in Melbourne? Her grownup warehouse in Hawthorn East and her hipster hangout in Northcote? Wouldn’t that be a dream! Link here while it lasts.

I always get excited when I stumble upon a warehouse conversion when I’m out real estate stalking. I get even more excited when the end result lives up to my hyped up expectations. Someone please lend me the money to buy this home in Melbourne’s Hawthorne East. It’s a grownup warehouse. Seriously stylish. I’d love to see it in real life because I’m sure the photos don’t do it justice. Link here  while it lasts.

I love the element of surprise in a space. A modern chair pulled up to a early 1900s wooden desk. A graphic piece of art hanging above granny’s old rocker. A sleek glass dining table with an antique brass chandelier hanging above. I laughed when I stumbled upon these photos.

The loft space is heavenly but anyone with no sense of imagination would then fill it top to bottom with industrial decor (ok, this is probably an ad for Restoration Hardware or something similar so they can get away with it).
