Nestled in tranquil woodland this Henley cottage has been sensitively reimagined and restored by Vaughan to honour its heritage while embracing modern comfort. Inspired by the surrounding British countryside, the interiors celebrate original features, painstakingly preserved and reimagined with a light, playful touch. Natural materials and a soft palette enhance the cottage’s warmth and charm, creating a timeless yet evolving home. Though thoroughly updated, it remains deeply rooted in its setting, a peaceful retreat for both the rhythm of daily life and the quiet of the weekend

Michael Breland and Peter Harper of LA design firm Breland-Harper transformed their 1920s Spanish Revival home in Silver Lake into a minimal, Tuscan villa-style beauty. It had been previously renovated and stripped of much of its history and charm. They designed a large addition with includes a kitchen to gather and entertain, created a Moorish style courtyard garden, added terracotta brick flooring which keeps the home cool (I love this soooo much) and overall created a wonderfully serene, airy vibe. This vibrant family home in the French countryside, just outside Paris, was completely transformed by Sean Symington over an 18-month renovation. Working closely with a young family who relocated from London, the project reimagined the interiors while respecting the home’s original architecture. Grand proportions and symmetry provided the perfect canvas for layering bold colour, texture, and pattern. An eclectic art collection informed much of the design direction, inspiring a personal, expressive aesthetic. Bespoke joinery, antique finds, and custom upholstery bring warmth and individuality to this richly detailed and welcoming home.

The Granary by Maddux Creative is a reimagined Cotswold retreat where natural light, calm tones and considered materials create a quiet elegance. Each space is thoughtfully designed to balance beauty and practicality, with soft textures, gentle forms and a restrained palette lending warmth and depth. From the inviting sitting room to the tactile TV space and restful master suite, the interiors offer a sense of ease and intimacy. Every detail has been chosen to enhance the home’s serene atmosphere, resulting in a timeless and deeply personal refuge shaped by intention and care.

This 1901 Hoboken, New Jersey brownstone needed a revamp and designer Hollie Velten was up for the challenge. The homeowners desired a thoughtful fusion of function and feeling.
