double g dreaming

I just couldn’t stay away from Parisian design duo double g. I had to dip in again. The grey, the red the hint of mint. Yum! Love this 250 m2 apartment at Louvre Rivoli.

Casa cool

I love Brazilian design. The work of their young architects and interior designers has a freshness, an irreverence, a sense of fun. It’s a super cool mix of eras, of young and old, high and low. It provokes and cajoles. Casa Cor 2015 by Rio de Janeiro architectural firm Studio RO+CA.

A century old loft in Barcelona

Posted on Sun, 29 Nov 2015 by KiM

Before I head off to a full day helping my dear husband with his Daff Design booth at the Idle Hands Art, Craft and Vintage Sale where I plan to get all of my Christmas shopping done, I thought I would share this glorious century old loft in Barcelona. Once belonging to the current owners’ grandparents, the space was renovated and as much of the original detail restored while modernizing where possible. The kitchen is a fantastic, and the vaulted brick ceiling is such a beautiful reminder of the structure’s history. Eclectic furnishings (including a worn leather chesterfield *GASP*) and black elements elevate the coolness factor. Via Nuevo Estilo. Decor: Luzio. Photos: Montse Garriga.

Linen love

Love a linen slip-covered sofa… or an armchair… and a warehouse setting… or a sandstone and glass walled living area… or a funky inner-city pad… and maybe in blush pink. Found via MCM House.
