I am loving this contemporary loft with an eclectic blend of furnishings and art. Now I am tempted to hunt down some sort of bust to drip paint on. LOVE!! Via FOUND. 

The coolest apartments are always in Paris. This one is by Monaco interior architect team Humbert & Poyet. A stunningly simple fireplace, graphic artwork, classic furnishings by the likes of Eero Saarinen, Mies van der Rohe and Serge Mouille combined with tall ceilings and to-die-for moldings make this apartment in Le Marais a total dream. You know I’m nosey. I like to stalk people’s homes online. I like to look in every nook and cranny. The only thing better would be to actually stay in other people’s homes and really look in every nook and cranny. I’m smitten by this Chelsea apartment with its fabulous collection of mid century pieces and a yellow kitchen that I never knew I wanted to replicate at my place. Yes I really suck at editing but OMG people, Maren‘s house is SOOOOO gorgeous! I am so sad she lives in Norway because I totally want to hang out at her place and listen to her make music and play with her cat and dog. Anyway, I will just have to make do with her Instagram feed. But at least I have a little (ok not that little) piece of her in my home. Check it out at the end of this post!

Maren and Maria, another Norwegian Instagram lovely @nordic_by_maag host the hashtag #darksideshow and back in mid-December they chose me as their weekly winner and OMG Maren sent my a massive canvas printed with one of her paintings all the way from Norway! it arrived a couple of weeks ago and husband and I framed it and hung it over the weekend. It is just what my bedroom was missing. The empty wall over my bed was starting to drive me crazy so this was the perfect spot. I love it Maren!! Thank you!!!
