Ann Lowengart is quite a versatile designer. As you will see in the majority of this post it’s all about sophisticated and chic neutral spaces that are timeless and very inviting. She has also had her way with bright, bold, daring colour combinations which you will see a bit here and in my next post. Whichever style you prefer, they are all jaw-dropping gorgeous. Benjamin Vandiver says his aesthetic cannot be categorized as one specific expression, that it’s just all about exceptional taste. Ordinarily I would find that proclamation a tad obnoxious but after perusing his portfolio, it’s 100% accurate. There’s nothing obnoxious about these spaces; they are all refined, carefully curated and casually exquisite.

There is something so dreamy and magical about this home. it brings together French and shabby chic with a plethora of textures and patterns and aged patinas and sparkle and glamour. if I walked through the front door of this home I could wander around for hours running my hands over fabrics, admiring each nook and cranny and not wanting to miss a thing. An early Victorian flat fronted semi detached house in Hackney, London, available as a location home via jj Locations.

I just want to frolic through this absolutely beautiful home in a pair of linen pants and a white blouse while listening to Adele with a Goldendoodle puppy biting at my heels. Not sure where I came up with that, but it’s been a helluva long week and I just want to sink into every piece of furniture in these photos and take the most epic nap. Rochester residence designed by Illinois-based Kate Marker Interiors.

In Australia we love to blur the line between indoors and out. Honestly I believe if it was possible we’d live in a house with no walls. Not very practical so the next best thing is a seamless transition from inside living to out. I love this house in Clovelly, Sydney by The Designory. A relaxed sophistication with a neutral palette playing off against the bright blue of the pool.
