This is Marmalade Manor. Built in Salt Lake City in 1878, this home is caught in a time warp and would be an absolutely incredible renovation project (if the bones are not in too rough of shape that is, or the budget was limitless). There are so many to-die-for original features including SIX fireplaces! I would love this home just for the gorgeous vintage kitchen sink and O’Keefe Merritt range (*drool*). Never mind the fact that there is a butlers pantry, TWO laundry rooms (one up, one down), a steam shower, radiators and in the backyard, a stone two-story playhouse. The house is pretty much bare in terms of furnishings, but have a look through these photos then close your eyes and dream of what it could be…. (for sale via City Home Collective)

While on a roll with rustic, weathered posts….there is something SOOOO GOOD about an old beat up leather chair. Via Nuevo Estilo.
Just a quick note: For those in Ottawa Sunday, it’s the first ever ManMade show at Mill Street Brew Pub – with 30 dude-worthy crafty vendors selling their goods, and there will be FREE BEER!!!!

My husband Jeff has a booth for his Daff Design products (mainly vintage radios converted into Bluetooth speakers). This morning he sampled his first floor model radio to me and OMG! I think he will be bringing it to ManMade so come on out and listen to it and check the other radios out. It’s going to be a BLAST! Cause craftalicious goodies AND BEER!

Roughing it??? Far from it! This home has got to be the fanciest rustic cabin I think I have ever seen. It has everything a cabin typically has – reclaimed wood, stone, floors that look like they’ve been there 100 years, exposed beams, a place to BBQ….but this is anything but typical. This beauty was designed by Kelly & Stone Architects and takes rustic living to a whole new level.

I’ve featured the bedroom before. It’s one of my all time favourites but I thought it was time to post the whole house. Yum! I’m in love with this Cronulla Residence by Amber Road. The restrained colour palette warmed by timber tones, the layering of texture, the light, the luxury of simple, contemporary lines.

I have one more project by Amanda Masters to share today. Again, with an all white backdrop, but this time it is much more subdued with some glamorous features added in for sophistication, and industrial touches to keep the vibe casual. Again, it is ON.
