Cave Interiors

Posted on Fri, 27 Feb 2015 by KiM

Cave Interiors is an interior design firm based in London and founded by Georgina Cave. The homes she has designed have great bones to start with (gawd I love classic British architecture!) and would be such amazing inspiration for some fabulous spaces, such as those she has created here. Our interior design portfolio demonstrates a range of design styles from ultra-modern to traditional; opulent to minimalist; relaxed havens of tranquillity to stunningly eclectic schemes mixing the industrial and the domestic. It is always about expressing the client’s needs, lifestyle and personality – not the designer’s signature. We create solutions which, whilst highly creative in their use of space, colour and detail, never look ‘designed’.

This kids’ bedroom is pretty sweet. What kid would not love this?

I love a sweeping staircase. I love it even more when the view from the top is of black and white houndstooth tile. From the portfolio of London-based architects Cousins & Cousins.

For the goth in you.

On a side note, I am heading to Puerto Vallarta in the morning for 10 days of sun and about 60C warmer weather. I have posts ready for while I am away so you won’t even miss me, plus Jo is here to hold down the fort. I will be checking emails and doing my usual business, including instagramming (@kim_dti) if you want to see what trouble I am getting into. No pet posts until I return but I am still taking submissions = kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net
See ya!

A bit masculine, a bit industrial

I am very fond of this London home currently for rent via Domus Nova. The exposed brick walls, the wide plank flooring on the downstairs level and the black herringbone flooring upstairs, and the industrial vibe of the kitchen are all fantastic features that will surely have this place becoming occupied in no time.
