If you would like to send me photos to include in next week’s pets on furniture post, please ensure your photos follow these basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is too dark or unfocused it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net. Thanks!
This is Misho, my now 5 month Lilac British shorthair. And he is the nicest kitty ever! 🙂
– Oliver (Stockholm, Sweden)

I’ve attached photos of our rescue cat Le Tigre: Here she is basking in the sun on one of our Jeff Covey Model Six stools…..and here she is on her favourite window seat
– Pier (Toronto)

Here is Su, our white ball of fur rescued from the streets of Shanghai. She loves the new green cashmere cover on the sofa…of course! This is her new spot to spend the winter.
– Armelle

that’s our cat Buffy on our Tapiovaara lounge chair called Madmoiselle. My husband and me are living in Nuremberg (Germany) with two cats.
– Katharina

… if it is just as perfect when the peace is broken by running kids, demanding cats and the remains of dinner. Perhaps but for now it’s just lovely. Flynn-Howe Kitchen by Project M+.

Before the last chaotic pre-Christmas weekend begins, enjoy some beautiful images by photographer Cora Büttenbender.

I needed a little pick me up today, something to take my mind off the fact that I am already completely fed up with winter. These spaces are a bit more country/shabby chic than we typically post but a little diversity never hurts. And these photos make me smile, and think of summer and warmth. Thank you California interior designer Alison Kandler for today’s virtual vacation.
