I thought I’d share some really special photos by Auckland photographer Simon Wilson.

Nook Architects have gone and done it again. They have renovated what was essentially a hole, and transformed it into a seriously cool apartment. The best part is they left all the beautiful original floor tiles intact, as well as some bits of old wallpaper. The effect is an eclectic juxtaposition between old and new. 

Zoom – an architecture firm based in Brazil that brings together creativity, function, and whimsy. And some splashes of colour and you have some funky and liveable spaces that can be easily enjoyed. One homewoner must have expressed their love of circles. 🙂

If you’d like to send me photos to include in next week’s “pets on furniture” post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is too dark or unfocused then it may not make the cut.
