California based interior designer Diane Leifer of Bleu Leman Design (named after the Swiss lake Lac Leman where she grew up) creates casual, classic spaces that exude a bit of the beach, a dash of rustic/industrial, a pinch of modern/contemporary…whatever style best suits her clients. The result is totally liveable, completely confortable and always timeless.

The latest edition of Llamas’ Valley magazine is live. The Autumn issue explores the faded beauty of the season. Perfect places, imperfect people. Editor-in-Chief Alge Ramanauskiene has sent us a teaser. It’s the beautiful home of Venetian family Brittany Hymore and Daniele Vallot, interior designer and her architect husband. Photography by Milda Bendoraityte. Head over to Llamas’ Valley‘s new website to find the Autumn issue and so much more.

Part design studio, part bike showroom this small warehouse conversion in Richmond, Melbourne by Auhaus brings whimsy and fun to the streetscape. The timber facade mimics the picket fences of the neighbouring houses and hints at city skylines. The Mondrian style window that replaces a roller door lets in light and frames the views in and out.

In my humble opinion, there is nothing sexier than black and gold. Put them in a kitchen with a gold velvet couch, graphic tile flooring and white subway tiles and I think I’m ready to pass out from sheer ecstasy. LAWD HALF MURSEY! Designed by Jessica Helgerson (we’ve had a girl crush on her since we statred this blog in 2007), photos by Lincoln Barbour.
