What a beautiful house this is!!! Modern and minimalist in architectural details, and so open and bright. Loving the drama the dark blue velvet sofa adds to the front sitting room and the pink club chair to the TV room. Fabulous style by Vancouver-based Angela Robinson.

I’m stalking in the oh so exclusive Sydney suburb of Woollahra, the “consular precinct” no less. The elaborate facade of this 1880 Italianate building is matched by the elegant interiors by Thomas Hamel & Associates and it’s no surprise that it has graced the pages of Vogue Living. Oh so chic, oh sophisticated and probably oh so expensive. Perhaps the GDP of a small developing nation? If you have the cash to splash the link is here while it lasts.

Everyone needs a little glamour in their homes. In this case it’s some crystal, marble and mirror in a kitchen and marble, crystal and gold in a stairwell. Thoughtful luxury as London-based designer Oliver Burns calls it.

*SIGH* Now this is a dressing room! The closet in the last post was pretty sweet but this is an entire room dedicated to someone’s wardrobe! Built-ins from top to bottom to store everything in a special place. My dream. I am fortunate enough to have a bedroom all to my own set up as a dressing room but it’s simply filled with miss-matched pieces of furniture/crates/racks. I want THIS!!! Once again by Marks & Frantz.
