Happy Friday everyone! Hope the weather is going to be beautiful where you are and you’re able to enjoy some sun and warmth (thankfully that would be tomorrow here in Ottawa). I thought this lovely home designed by Venice, California-based Marissa Cramer of MADE CO. would be a great way to end off the work week. Such cozy and inviting spaces that have a bit of a beachy chic vibe and are quite timeless. Love the dark blue walls in the living room.

My second stalking today is in Newtown in Sydney. From the street a simple brick facade that sits comfortably beside its historic neighbours but take a look from the rear and it’s another story. A striking mural on the boundary wall faces a large public park. Inside it’s all comtemporay chic with a great entertaining area with pool in the backyard. Just slide back panels in the mural to take in the parkland beyond. Link here while it lasts.

I. LOVE. THIS. HOUSE. And it all starts with the room above. Dark colours, plants and all windows, with an incredible lounge chair and ottoman. LOVE!!! This entire home is absolutely stunning in white, country chic with touches of Scandinavian and French, and every room is meticulously curated. Hats of to designer Monique Gibson for nailing this one. (Warning: There are some stuffed dead birds – so those who are offended by taxidermy feel free to skip this one)

Kara Mann – always a bit ballsy, and bit dramatic, a bit of glam…even when designing a farmhouse. A little something unexpected here and there that always catches my eye and makes me admire her style that much more. She painted the beautiful floorboards in the kitchen black, and to that I say HELLS YEAH!!!
