Rae’s on Wategos wasn’t enough. I had to share more from Tamsin Johnson‘s portfolio. The Sydney-based interior designer is known for her eclectic and refined style. Here the home is elegant and contemporary with a touch of traditional while a light, fresh palette is highlighted with striking hues of blue.

Hump day getaway anyone? Rae’s on Wategos has been a Byron Bay icon for many years. Now with a recent refurbishment designed by Tamsin Johnson it is even more fabulous. Moorish meets Mediterranean, whitewash meets sand and surf, elegant yet relaxed and all just steps from stunning Wategos Beach on the most easterly point of Australia. I couldn’t think of a better virtual escape. Can you?

Perhaps an equal share of both. What a beautiful pied-Γ -terre in New York’s Chelsea by Montreal-based Les Ensembliers.

Oh, to have such a space where in one afternoon you can totally rearrange everything you own. The joys of living in lofts and conversions. This 1935 former school canteen/science lab/art department in the U.K. is an incredible space – 2,000 sq ft arranged over two floors, plus a 1,000 sq ft roof terrace featuring to-die-for steel windows throughout and equally to-die-for original pine herringbone flooring. Available as a location space via Shoot Factory.
