This Georgian house is the home of hám interiors director Tom Cox. Situated in Oxfordshire, it has been sympathetically renovated and extended with new kitchen and beautiful bespoke furniture pieces. A limited palette and natural materials allow the fine details to shine. It’s all about attention to detail, personality and country style.

It may be a little Clark Kent at the front but it’s all superhero out the back. I’m stalking an 1890s weatherboard cottage in Lilyfield, Sydney with its modern extension by Nobbs Radford Architects. A a great light-filled, fun family home. Link here while it lasts.

What was once an abandoned and half demolished farmhouse in Ampurdán, Spain is now a glorious contemporary home in concrete, plaster and stone. Rustic living at its finest! designed by Eva Martínez, via Nuevo Estilo.

Before the weekend gets going (mine’s a bit nuts – new foster kitty arrived Wednesday), how about a glimpse into another project by Jeff Schlarb. This grand Victorian was built in 1893 and needed a bit of a facelift. With some stunning original features maintained and some modern elements added, this home is now rockin’ a new era.

San Francisco designer Jeff Schlarb describes his style as simply “rad elegance”, and that is precisely how I would describe this home he designed for an art collecting client. The artwork is bold and quirky and very much whimsical, and he managed to pair it with bold, modern, elegant furnishings for an overall look of cohesive radness. LOVE!!!
