Red – brave, warm, extrovert, hearty, enveloping, dramatic, evocative of all things oriental and at times a little naughty. Are you up for it?

The following amazing picture from Metropolitan Home was just sent to me by Peggy, who thought it would be a great addition to this post. Thanks Peggy!

I love that office too. Maybe if I had an office that nice I’d actually keep it tidy! I am not a big fan of red – but these pictures are gorgeous!

I was just commenting over at ABT that I think coral is getting ready to come into its own, and here you are with this post. I wonder if some panels like in the Wearstler photo would be easy to rig?
Look at that chandy. Now that is serious. LOVE IT

i thoroughly enjoyed this post because red is my favorite color. love the belle pics esp on the left. i was just eyeing a chair like that in target – reproduction. and red barcelonas are brilliant!

I adore those Belle pics too! The colours are really eye-catching. And that’s the first time I’ve seen barcelonas in red.

Peggy says:

Should probably mention that the wonderful red dining room is by the amazing designer Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz.

Love your site!
