Nick’s place

I eagerly await each new month at Domino. No not the magazine but the website. I can’t find the magazine here in Australia so the monthly online update is my eagerly awaited fix. And this month’s held a pleasant surprise, more photos of Nick Olsen’s home. I know it has been featured in the magazine (and we’ve posted the first 2 pictures before) but I, along with most of our overseas readers, haven’t seen it. Nick has a great sense of style. It’s witty, classic yet eclectic with lashings of Hollywood Regency thrown in and embraces colour in all its glory. I loved it when I saw the first few pictures now the room is more complete for me.

P.S. I’ve just noticed that Anna has posted her favourites from this months Domino on Absolutely Beautiful Things. If you haven’t been to her website you’re in for a treat!

wow, it’s all wonderfully great, but that desk should win a prize….

The whole place deserves a prize orangered. I’m loving the wall colour.

i would never think to put candy blue, green, and pale pink together. this place is so young and classy.

I want to move in tomorrow.

I have to rethink the way I was planning to highlight my desk area. 🙁
Being so dramatic and chic, this would be a real challenge to top this idea. Wow! Nick’s place makes a lasting impression.

Le Lion says:

i adore Nick’s place, but for some reason, the desk just doesnt spreak to me as it does to the rest of you. it feels too Robin Hood for me? personally, i love the stacks of books as bedside tables, and the fact that he has TWO beds. most people would nix one and use the space, but it works so beautifully how he has it…
