New Zealand architects Crosson Clarke Carnachan design beautiful honest spaces in quite striking places. Strong locations need empathy and this firm has a wonderful grasp of place and purpose. “At CCCA we are constantly striving to understand what is motivating the world around us. As a creative team we observe change and this informs our ideas….CCCA believe good design will produce functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces and buildings that have an enduring quality over time.” Inspiring work.

Remember when you first posted that top picture way back in May Kim? I came across a number of New Zealand sites recently and I was reminded how strong their portfolio is. Just had to share more.

If I lived in these beautiful places, I wouldn’t even care if I had a shelter over me!

Seriously though, these structures are amazing and so unique. Love them!

Wow! Aesthetically pleasing is right! Living in one of those is like living in a futuristic era.

Jo, I think that first photo is engrained in my brain forever. I still adore it. These homes are so beautiful it’s hard to believe they’re real.
