Californian interior designer Jamie Bush “is recognized for his ability to mix period and contemporary furnishings with a fresh and discerning eye. Layering rich colors and textures with exotic and organic elements transforms each of his spaces into an inviting, modern, and unexpected environment.” He has a very impressive portfolio that includes mid-century, modern, minimalist and contemporary designs – all which are guaranteed to knock your socks off.

Wow that comment above was semi-mean. I happen to really like the pictures. I especially like the kitchen and the bedroom with the shag carpet.

Comment above that Kara mentionned was removed because it was left by someone who was trying to stir up sh*t and we don’t deal with sh*t here on DTI. Carry on folks.

LOL! You too 🙂 I really like the use of midcentury classics (I spy Albini stools) especially in spaces that reference the era.

He is very talented and I love his color and style sense. Just beautiful!

Mer says:

OMG! I am pretty sure that I need that blue couch. Any ideas where it came from?
And FYI Jo and Kim, the lack of sh*t is what makes your blog the very, very best. No flame wars, no chit chat, just house porn. And for that, you ladies rock.

kim. says:

That couch is killer Mer – no clue of it’s origin though. And thanks for the love. 🙂

Lindsay says:

The only thing better than these photos was Kim getting fighty and putting her foot down. Yeah! But to get to the point, it’s the *yellow* couch I want. And that silver wall sculpture in the last photo! Jamie Bush is really good – it’s not easy to pull off dark wood panelling, nor this era of retro in general for that matter. I’m not a fan of the swaggy curtains or much else in the outdoor shot, but that’s the single exception.

Marisol says:

I really like the how he combines colours, that blue couch with pistachio lamps is just wonderful, and the yellow couch as well!
Really refreshing!

The kitchen is in a house that was recently published in the LA Times: http://www.latimes.com/features/home/la-hm-0131-hahn-pg,0,4886386.photogallery?index=2

Love it!
