the green chemist

I love these porches. Just wish we had the weather in Sweden to be able to have one and use it all year round!
lovely post…I love porches and living outside…hope the weather will turn into better SOOOON…Greetings from rainy germany, geisslein
I LOVE porches. The front porch sold me on the house I live in now. It’s a wrap-around style and in the summer is shaded from the hot west sunsets by big leafy trees. It’s wonderful. I love looking at the porch photos in this post—giving me ideas—and just plain dreamy to look at.
drooling over the playful pink trim in the last image before the jump. you ladies always find the best things!
Anyone know what the chair is called for the green chemist? I’ve seen them around from place to place, and am curious of their name!
Thank you thank you thank you so much for posting this!
What an amazing collection of beautiful and unique porches. I love the variations on pendant lighting / use of lanterns. And how the styles range from traditional to modern to downright cozy.
Hopefully I’ll be able to come up with something inspired for my own front porch. Fingers crossed!
Laura, those chairs are from Ikea – several seasons ago. I have 2 white ones. LOVE ‘EM! Wish they kept them in production.
Thank you for the porch eye candy! I spent this past Sunday scrubbing down my patio furniture and hosing off my brick patio, and realized I need to majorly spruce things up! These photos gave me some good ideas, and some much needed motivation. 🙂
I love the variety too. So many great ideas no matter what kind of porch or porch-style you have. Fantastic. Love all the lanterns.
