Gentl & Hyers over and over

Is it wrong to love a portfolio so much that you stalk it? This is the second time I have featured work by photographers Gentl & Hyers. Can’t get enough especially when they update their portfolio on their rep’s site (their own is still under construction). It’s the richness, the jewel like tones, the rich almost thick light (you could cut it with a knife). Truth be told I did sneak in my all time favourite. It’s the last one. So lush!

The kitchen photos are from Martha Stewart. Her properties are more like hotels or posh boarding schools than individual residences…

The photo of the kitchen with open shelving and espresso machine is from one of Martha Stewart’s homes, and though I’m generally a fan of hiding away most of the kitchen clutter, since it’s Martha, the plates are a perfect complement to the rest of the room, and are therefore worth showing off. Love all of these rooms!
